NieR Replicant
NieR Replicant is a remaster of the action role-playing game NieR (2010) which released in 2021. You play as the protagonist (known as simply NieR by fans) who searches for a cure to an illness called the Black Scrawl, which his sister is currently dying from. He joins forces with a talking book named Grimoire Weiss, as well as two other companions named Kainé and Emil in his quest for a cure, while also trying to understand the nature of Shades, bizarre creatures that roam the world.
