Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is an supernatural adventure manga written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. The series is divided into parts, with there currently being 8, and a 9th in planning. The series began in 1987, with Part 1 Phantom Blood. Here's a list of all parts and their publication dates:

Each part in the series follows a different main character, all of them bearing the nickname "Jojo". The plot, setting, and supporting cast also changes in each part, although some do have overlapping characters. The anime is currently on the sixth part, Stone Ocean.
